ToT - Blended Learning

The field of training is vast and continually evolving arena. The dynamic nature of training demands solid understanding and use of latest trends in training to make the learning more effective and skillful. Blended learning helps a trainee and trainer to effectively make use both online, offline and face to face modes of training delivery. To adopt best training practices DGT has initially taken the 06 (six) CTS trades having high demand and are being converted into blended mode of training. The trainers need to acquire skill of using the blended contents available and make the training most effective. In today’s Pandemic environment, online delivery of skill training gained importance and Blended content designed by NIMI play very crucial role to deliver training in Blended mode. CSTARI, Kolkata is conducting series of two days ToT -Blended Learning courses to train the Master Trainers from State Directorates/NSTIs/ITOTs/ITIs across India. .

Registration Fees:

Application & Registration fee per course per Participant: Rs. 100/- is to be done online.


How to participate:

Nominations for the above courses shall be invited from DGT, MSDE, and New Delhi. The nominated candidates can register for the course by paying Rs 100/- towards course registration through online.


Central Staff Training & Research Institute

The Central Staff Training and Research Institute (CSTARI) was established in the year 1968 by the Govt. of India, Ministry of Labour & Employment, DGE&T in collaboration with the Govt. of the Federal Republic of Germany. CSTARI is a premier institute with a sprawling campus of approximately 16 acres located in the biggest IT hub of eastern part of the country at Sector V, Salt Lake, Kolkata. From April 2015 CSTARI is under Directorate General of Training (DGT), Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE). The various operational activities are executed by two different wings – namely Research and Training, and spread across Crafts Man training, Craft Instructor training, Modular Employable Skills & CoE.

National Instructional Media Institute(NIMI)

NIMI has been functioning as a Nodal Agency to develop Instructional Materials, e-content, Question Banks, Train media developers and trainers, enable translation of books into Hindi and other regional languages, network with other vocational stakeholders, create resource centers for vocational courses, promote research in the field of development of instructional materials and offer consultancy services.
